Find Us At Fairport Canal Days June 7 and 8, 2014

Looking for some outdoor fun this weekend?  Why not visit the historic village of Fairport, New York for the 37th Fairport Canal Days!  This festival  draws thousands to the canalside town and features more than 200 artisans, 40 food vendors and almost 100 local merchants.  This three day event kicks off with a chicken barbecue and concert today, Friday June 6, 2014 at 4:30 p.m.  The artists and food vendors open their tents at 10 a.m. Saturday June 7th and then you can enjoy the Main Street parade around noon.  The festival’s official hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

This year, Fairport Canal Days will have 36 bands performing on three stages over the course of the weekend.  Also, on Saturday, is the Fourth Annual Teen Battle of the Bands, showcasing young talent from the region. The winning band receives a studio recording session at The Green Room in Rochester.
